MatVis extends MATLAB (MathWorks, Inc) for psychophysical testing using off-the-shelf PC hardware. The excellent tools offered by Denis Pelli and David Brainard have enabled Macintosh users to perform psychophysical experiments using MATLAB. Now the world of PC users will have similar capabilities. MatVis scales to the available system hardware. The better the hardware the more flexible and capable MatVis becomes.
